| So in light of things becoming very hectic for a few months, Shelly and I have moved in together. Things are great, but that's not the basis of this entry.
I don't use LiveJournal anymore. I use Blogger. http://theheroslegend.blogspot.com And that's not the reason I'm making an entry here, either.
I don't post here anymore, I guess because the layout bores me. I don't know.
But anyway.
( Nikki and Tamtu )
P.S. - This ad bullshit is annoying. I'm never posting here again. Hope to hear from you guys on AIM or something :) | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

The Star Onions 2 album finally has a release date - and sample tracks of all but two of the entire album!
I've got to say, I'm most excited about the Fighters of the Crystal one. It was already awesome enough - even more awesome than that of the Shadow Lord's theme on the first Star Onion's album - and now the Star Onions have revamped and revitalized this one. I can't wait to hear it~ | comments: Leave a comment |
| Remember that time I turned 25?
Yeah, that's because it's today!
Happy birthday to me ^^ | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| It's...
I'm excited there's finally a new Zelda game coming out, but perplexed as to a) why it's not a Wii-specific title like they had said they wanted to do, and b) why it involves more modern technology and that dumb looking engineer's suit. Or why he needs to change between them.
But the handheld Zeldas have been getting pretty girly lately, so it's whatever. It'll still be fun as hell, like all the others.
EDIT: They removed the video. No big deal. | comments: Leave a comment |
| Beat Resident Evil 5 last night
( Spoilers after the cut. )
All in all, it was a good game with good addition to the new 'parasite' portion of the viral-outbreak horror series. Too bad it wasn't all that horrifying. | comments: Leave a comment |
| | I got invited by Club Nintendo to go to Gamestop this Sunday after their normal 6pm closing time to get a sneak peek at the Nintendo DSi. That's pretty cool. It'll definitely be the selling point on whether or not I get one, and I've already been leaning on yes. Haha. | comments: Leave a comment |
| You start naked, with the inability to use any weapons, abilities, or magic, and the inability to equip any armor. You free up your restrictions via cells you get by fighting stuff, but the best chances you have are fighting with the minimum required fighting power to get things rolling as fast and easily as possible.
You fight for armor. In example, you need three pieces of lower level armor and a lot of change to synthesize the high-level armor. The exception in this is the body armor, as there's a catch to these steps. An extra step, if you will. The lowest of the lower level pieces you need for a piece of body armor is dropped by a force-spawned NM in one of the remnants areas via a card you recieve in a different remnants area.
The Cards are the confusing part. Bhaflau Card seems to have a specific obtainable route within the Bhaflau Remnants: Defeating the possible pop of the NM "Mad Bomber" before it self-destructs will spawn a Dormant Rampart - a portal to a room with the Reactionary Rampart. The Reactionary Rampart spawns monsters every 12 seconds, in which every time it spawns a monster, it loses 1% HP. All in all, it kills itself in 20 minutes if your party is focusing on the popped monsters, and not hitting the Rampart at all.
But when I look at any of the other remnant cards, they just say they drop from "Archaic Machinery" which is the entire family of gears and ramparts and shit. So I'm confused. Is there a specific pattern for these cards? Or is the Bhaflau card obtainable randomly like all the others, with a little fun on-the-side 100% drop deal like that. And if that's the case, wouldn't it just make sense for all the remnants to have that little side fight for a 100% drop? I didn't read anything like this in the other remnant areas. | comments: Leave a comment |
